Sudestmaroc.com is an independent media platform devoted to the territories, memories and cultures of South-Eastern Morocco.

Born out of long-standing work in the region, the site today brings together in-depth articles, testimonies, archives, narratives, photographs and resources intended to offer a deeper understanding of a territory too often reduced to its landscapes.

Sudestmaroc.com was founded by Éric Anglade and Abdeljalil Didi. The project is now mainly managed and edited by Éric Anglade, who has lived in the Ouarzazate region for more than twenty years.

Sudestmaroc.com is grounded in fieldwork, contributions from authors and witnesses, and particular attention to sources and the transmission of local knowledge.

Sudestmaroc.com is independent of any public institution or political organisation. Its editorial purpose is to document, highlight and promote the South-East of Morocco.
